The Castellani winery was founded at the end of the 19th century and officially registered in 1903. Today, it is a family-owned winery managed by Piergiorgio Castellani and his brothers, and it is considered one of Italy’s leading family wine producers. In 2003, the family celebrated 100 years since its first wine export. Castellani’s high-quality wines are now exported to 46 countries worldwide.
The company owns 250 hectares of land in Chianti Classico and other prestigious Tuscan vineyards, including the Pisan Hills. Wineries are located in each production region, allowing immediate processing of harvested grapes. For more than ten years, Castellani vineyards have been environmentally friendly, using no insecticides, pesticides, GMOs, or other chemicals harmful to nature or human health.
