Il Lusio Cava Rosé is a Spanish sparkling rosé from the Penedès region (Cava DO), produced using the traditional bottle-fermentation method (méthode traditionnelle). It is made from the Trepat grape, which gives the wine its characteristic pale pink color and vibrant fruitiness. The wine offers a refreshing taste, a harmonious balance of acidity and fruit flavors, making it an ideal choice for an aperitif or to accompany light dishes and snacks at festive occasions.
The Cavas Masachs company was founded by D. Josep Masachs Llorach, a man of strict principles, determination, and a passion for winemaking. Combining traditional sparkling wine techniques with professional expertise, he initially produced small batches enjoyed mainly by close friends. His son, D. Josep Masachs Juvé, continued the family tradition, and in 1977, his sons Josep and Joan Masachs launched a new sparkling wine line. Over time, quality steadily improved, and the reputation of these young Spanish winemakers expanded well beyond their homeland.
